How do users in Mainland China install ActivityWatch and Watch Sync?
The Simplified Chinese Watch guide provides a Mainland China download source for ActivityWatch, while Watch Sync is served directly from the Watch domain.
On the zh-cn setup page, the ActivityWatch download action uses 's current iCloud China download link rather than requiring users to rely only on GitHub Releases.
Watch Sync is served from https://aw.qsseda.com/aw-sync.mjs. The current preview requires Node.js 18 or newer and recommends PowerShell 7 on Windows.
After installation, ActivityWatch must still be running on the user's computer and 127.0.0.1:5600 should be reachable before the user creates an Watch device token and starts syncing.
