Mainland China & Compatibility · Watch
Why doesn't the Mainland China Watch guide prefer GitHub downloads?
The main reason is download reachability and network reliability, not because ActivityWatch is not open source.
ActivityWatch remains an independent open-source project. simply provides a more reachable download source for the Mainland China setup flow.
Watch Sync itself is served directly from the first-party aw.qsseda.com domain so users do not need to search across repositories and Release pages.
