Watch · Watch
What data does Watch actually sync?
It currently syncs ActivityWatch bucket metadata and events from those buckets; events are not limited to only app, title, timestamp, and duration.
The current sync tool reads ActivityWatch buckets. Cloud-side bucket metadata includes id, type, client, hostname, and name.
Each stored event includes timestamp, duration, and data. The data object can preserve string, number, boolean, or null fields written by the ActivityWatch watcher, so the exact fields depend on the watcher that created the bucket.
It is therefore inaccurate to reduce Watch to 'only app, title, timestamp, and duration.' Common window watchers do produce app and title, but the sync layer itself is a general event sync.
