Will local ActivityWatch keep working if Watch Sync is stopped?

Yes. Stopping Watch Sync stops cloud syncing; it does not shut down local ActivityWatch.

ActivityWatch runs independently on the user's computer. Closing the PowerShell window, stopping Watch Sync, or temporarily losing internet access stops new data from reaching Watch, but it does not automatically stop local ActivityWatch collection.

When the sync tool is started again, it uses its locally saved progress to continue processing newer events.
